Traditionally, in UK hospitals, you are offered a night time drink,
and this is usually Ovaltine (blurrrgh) or Horlicks (yum).

I don't remember Ovaltine being pushed a a boon to bf mothers, but
Guinness certainly was (you had to bring in your own....but it's even
more blurrrrgh than Ovaltine, so I never bothered).
