The reason she asked is because her straight hair has recently started
curling - she used to blow dry her hair (thereby straightening it, unknowingly)
and when she stopped noticed her hair was now curly when it had always been
straight. She is in her late 30's and never had children (so isn't
pregnancy/breastfeeding related).

~~ This sounds familiar. After years of having straight hair, I hit
perimenopause around 36, all former nurslings had long weaned themselves, and my hair
started to wave up like never before ( among other more annoying effects). I
am actually still not used to seeing myself in mirrors with wavy hair, even
after years...:)

Peace,
Judy
