If anyone has experience with breastfeeding clients and (upper), labial
frenotomy please let me know if it dramatically improved mom's
complaints of soreness and is the procedure the same and as simple as for
the lingual frenum.

I've written to Alison but and I know she's busy with a houseful of her
own.
My client's baby definately has a short, very thick labial frenulum which
extends to,possibly over the top of the maxillary ridge or site of where
his teeth will come in. Mom's teeth grew in straight and never had hers
clipped and it's not so noticeable now,and her mom never tried to BF due to
her aunt's complaints of severe pain.

This is also a baby with mom's thin upper lip and noticeably receding chin.
Mom's baby pictures are so similar to babe.
TIA
