Greetings from soggy South Florida.....While some were listening to GMA I and
my cohort, Renee Bielecki, RN IBCLC were listening to the very disappointing
segment on breastfeeding on the Today Show.  Why can't there be a truly good
rebuttal segment that does'nt allude to breastfeeding is painfuly and life is
so busy and its easier to just give a bottle.  The "expert" pedi was a woman
who has written a book and her position was similar to the lady on the
mechanical bull in the Ad campaign-
'all over the place.  The mothers group interviews were less than
enthusiastic...the impression left was you are made to feel guilty if you don't
breastfeed, so I did it out of guilt.  If Ann Curry or Katie who have had children
would have done the segment it might have been better Campbell Brown is sweet
young and not married and her observations were those of her friends...I think
Matt or Al might have even given a more even handed presentation.....Renee  and I
where in 2 different places but immediately we spoke and we had the same
impression...Anyone else ???
