Christine,
I have worked with a mom who had a kidney transplant as a child and has gone
on to breastfeed 2 children. Dr. Armenti with the National Transplantation
Pregnancy Registry (NTPR) was extremely helpful. You can reach him at
877-955-NTPR (6877) or by email at [log in to unmask]

Both babies were born early and we did have milk supply issues that may or
may not have been related to her medication. This mom was able to work
through everyone's fear about both pregnancy and breastfeeding after
transplant surgery through sheer determination. She was incredible.

Good luck!

Janet
