Subject: What does anyone know about breastfeeding?

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this....

However, I've asked several people and posted on parenting boards on the web
with no luck. So, here goes:

My son is 8 mos old and at 6 mos started refusing the right breast. I
think
that this was because he was teething heavily and caused a feeling of
pressure in his ears whenever I nursed him on the right side. (Yes, I tried
altering positions and it worked for awhile, just became a nuisance.) Well,
now, 2 mos later he is completely weaned off of the right breast. I don't
like this, it is uncomfortable for one thing. Anyhow, there is still milk
in
my right breast and whenever I try pumping from that side, he refuses the
milk. Also, now putting him to the right breast isn't a problem, he just
gets mad when he tastes the milk.

So, my questions are: Can the breastmilk go bad? ( I thought it was just
reabsorbed.) Why would the milk taste different? How can I get him to
nurse
from that side again?

Please keep in mind that I am almost positive that this is a taste thing.
I'm pretty sure of this because he even refuses the pumped milk from the
right side! (Yes, he does drink the pumped milk from the left side.)

Thanks so much! If I need to forward this to someone else, please let me
know!
