It's probably been done, but what about the accessment of the inside of
the baby's mouth and digital suck test?  I have picked up some cases of
nipple trauma that seemed to be related to baby's mouth that didn't
leave nipple changes after coming off latch, like a humped tongue that
repeatadly flickes the end of the nipple, palate variations,
disorganized suck, and cranio-neck traumas.  Good luck.  Becky Garcia
