I am still amazed that in Australia metoclopramide is being prescribed
when domperidone is available and associated with far fewer side
effects.  I have had mothers on this stuff for months without any
noticeable side effects except increased milk supply.

I tend to decrease the dose slowly when we are ready to stop it.  I have
no studies to back this up.
