<<Mom is having gallbladder trouble and all they were told is that they are
putting a radioactive material into her blood for a scan and that she can't
breastfeed for 3-4 days. I haven't had any experience with this and I have
Hale's book but I can't figure out which page the info is on. For instance,
is it under radiocontrast agents, radiopharmaceutical, or radioactive
half-lives? I was hoping to find more information on his webpage but the
page on radioactive materials is down. I am guessing I also need more
information. What kind of information? I don't even know what to tell them
to ask. Can someone please give me some insight? THANK YOU!>>

Find out what radioactive dye it is and look it up in the index. The
radiologist will tell you or the mother. You are asking so you can find out
exactly what the half life is, and how long mom will need to pump. Not at all --
to four days (or whatever).
