Your peer counselor is not "my" peer counselor.  You don't own her.  She is a peer counselor working for ? and follows evidence based medicine to support BF practices.
As Diane would say - watch your language.  I hope you realize I am saying this in light of everything we are learning about racial disparities.
Of course you were upset!  Her job isn't the issue.  This could have happened to any mother who goes to this opinionated dr!
 
better wording may be "a breastfeeding mother related to me about an unfortunate experience in your office.  According to the mother 
you told her that breastfeeding was akin to
"slavery", that there was nothing in breastmilk after a year and that the
child just thinks he can have the mothers breast whenever he feels like
it. 
 
Then include evidence-based info, such as world wise average duration of lact and benefits of mother's milk, immune wise, security for child and so on.  Mother's milk does not turn to water at a specific age, LOL.  Pat in SNJ
