When I had a home visiting practice I bought a sling-type scale from
Cascade Birthing Supply in Oregon.  The more accurate ones only go up to
10 lbs, and the ones that can weigh a bigger baby are only accurate to
within 2 oz.  Hardly useful if you really need to know how well a baby's
growing.  Since then I've used the Olympic Smart Scale, the Sartorius, and
the Medela BabyWeigh, and I would recommend the BabyWeigh for these
reasons:
        lowest price
        acceptable accuracy
        can weigh heavier infants
        doesn't need recalibration when used on home visits.
