I agree with Suzanne McBride that IQ is not necessarily an indicator of
"success" or happiness.  I have never known my own IQ, but was an academic
high achiever and always thought of myself as bright.  I wonder if knowing
that figure might have had a limilting effect.  I do not know the IQ of any
of my children and never inquired as to their APGAR scores or what percentile
they measured up to on the growth charts.  Knowledge of these figures sets up
certain expectations which may pose barriers to reaching our true potential.
 However I think that the breastmilk and IQ studies are noteworthy and are
valid in the promotion of breastfeeding.

As a non US citizen I am automatically inelligible for jury duty, so this has
not been an issue for me personally, but I have often wondered, considering
all the dedicated professional people and nurturing mothers who are exempted
from jury duty, if I were ever on trial where would they find the jury of my
peers?  Just food for thought.
