I received the following e-mail today detailing a *wonderful* new bill proposed in California. For those who live in California, call your representatives to show your support for the bill! 
Here is the e-mail: 


"Important new legislation was introduced in California that will, if passed, prevent formula companies from distributing free samples of formula to families upon leaving the hospital without the written consent of the mother that she understands the risks of formula feeding and the benefits of
breastfeeding. Additionally, the legislation will prohibit hospitals and other health care providers from providing information about families to formula companies without the same informed written consent of the parents."
