I am in the process of revising our hospital breastfeeding policy and am
using several other hospitals guidelines as well as the ABM's Model Hospital
Policy protcol as a template. Only problem is that our hospital has an
infant feeding policy. In other words, breastfeeding and handfeeding are in
the same protocol. The NP who is responsible for this is adamant without
reason that she wants them together. I've never experienced this before, has
anyone else? If so, how did you handle it?

I'd appreciate feedback.

Thanks,
Jan Wenk, IBCLC
Rochester, NY
