Hope you can make it tonight. Sorry I didn't send a reminder
earlier-very full week. Please join us for the chat tonight 8 PM
Central time (9 Eastern, 7 Mountain, 6 Pacific) In light of the
recent experiences discussed on Lactnet, I thought we might discuss
dealing with people, especially those we may have to answer to, who
"just don't get it" when it comes to accepting freebies from formula
companies, telling the truth about risks of artificial feeding,
guilt vs informed consent, etc.

For those reading this on LN who've never participated:
go to www.pedschat.org
click on "chat"
enter a name and click on "enter chat"
It may take a few minutes to make the connection. Ignore anything
in Spanish on the screen while you wait-it doesn't have anything to
do with our chat. You'll see people's comments (on mine it's in the
bottom aea of the screen). As soon as you get in, a message will
appear saying "so-and-so has entered the chat-please introduce
yourself...."
If you've never participated in a live chat before, a couple
tips-make your comments brief-break up longer comments and send in
sections. Don't worry about editing, we all understand there will
be typos in the interest of quickness (if you wound up saying
something that can be misinterpreted because of a typo, just send
the correction)-some are actually quite amusing. Don't take too
long to compose a response or the conversation may leave you behind
in the dust! It's lots of fun and a chance to interact with folks
from all over.

Winnie
