Hi All,

I got an interesting question from a client last night. She asked me "Why
do you have to use thawed breastmilk 24 hours if it smells fine and tastes
fine for up to 2 days?" She has done her own 'testing' and has used her
milk after that 24 hr time period - she says her milk smelled fine, tasted
fine, baby had no issues with it. I told her I had no clue - that is what I
learned years ago.but I'd certainly ask! So.why the 24 hr limit?

Thanks!

Jaye
