I'm coming out of lurkdom to reply to this, in defense of all the wonderful
LC's I know in Atlanta.

There are many,  many LC's around here.     As in any profession, some
professionals are excellent, some mediocre and some not so good.   In the 8
months I've been here, I've met quite a few LC's, worked with a few, and
they are a great group of people and on the whiole, excellent professionals.
This mother may simply have had bad luck.
