I agree that SNS isn't helpful in a non-latching infant. I can see a use for SNS as a viable method of supplementation in the first few days when an infants blood glucose is low or weight loss > 10% and the baby has a good suck. Compared to other options for supplementation, I like that baby will associate the breast with nourishment.
