Marianne - perhaps I missed something.  Thanks for your questioning mind.  I
didn't take it so far in my thinking to consider that my name might be
placed on an endorsement of some kind. I have participated in shopper's
surveys before and not seen harm in making my opinion known.

Of course it is different for us as LCs, though I doubt the marketers would
quote a participant because they checked a particular box in a multiple
choice survey.  What I now imagine could be done would be something along
the lines of, " sixty-five percent of LCs prefer our pump" in advertising.
Was it wrong to try to participate and receive a small stipend for my time?
I don't see it.  I'd love to hear other opinions.
