If they had simply taken babe to mom or had mom come to nursery and put babe
to breast, they could have accomplished the same thing (settled the baby)
and been able to keep pressure on the circ.  Sadly, there is a mind set that
says reach for a bottle :-(  When baby is latched on and not crying it is so
much easier to do things, like listen to breath sounds, heart sounds, do
small procedures (heel stick etc.)  So sad that in this day and age HCPs
aren't up to trying new "old" ways to fix a problem.  Pat in SNJ
