I am all in favour of letting everyone know the risks of formula
feeding, for those very reasons.

This can be done - surely - without making individual women who do
not breastfeed look stupid or reckless (log rolling or bull riding).

We don't do this in our practice, do we?

Why would we do it with an ad?

Do we promote maintaining a healthy weight by making overweight and
obese people feel horrible about themselves?

Even anti-smoking ads acknowledge the difficulty people have with quitting.
