Joan F.- Appreciated your info re: bags. If polyetheylene bags are not
appropriate, what is recommended for the average mother who works out of the
home, and who leaves her baby regularly?

Also, regardin the term RELIANT, I feel that it is us to us as LCs, MDs,
RNs, etc, to give info...and educated plan. If the receiver of the info
chooses not to use this info, that is their choice...their problem, their
choice. To infer that it is somehow a slight to us as LCs if people don't
"do " what we say, well, it is annoying, because we know that sometimes
things could be successful if they had. I find that most times, human
beings havea personal agenda..some moms do not reallyk want to breastfeed,
and I have had people pay me large sums of money, not follow the agreed upon
plan, and then say "Well, I did everything, but it just didn't work out for
me."..A kind of rationalization. Frustrating, but a fact. I am sure this
example can be extrapolated into other areas of health care, ie stopping
smoking, losing weight (I know this one from PERSONAL experience : ) )
