Hi Jeni,

I have two bits of information to share as you consider furthering your education.

First, check into the accreditation status of not just your school, but your chosen program. Accreditation is expensive and annoying to schools, but it ensures the quality of your education is transferable -- if you are successful in your program, you'll likely be successful in the real-world applications of it. Programs that are not accredited may not provide the academic rigor or expertise you will want.

Second, consider what skills and knowledge you hope to gain from the degree. What will increase your relevance in your current work environment or make you more marketable in a related, but different one?

Consider a Master of Public Health. It is incredibly rigorous, but so eye-opening (at least for me) into what's possible.

Good luck!
