Any equipment used between patients in a hospital setting must be
cleaned with a hospital approved gremacidal cleaning solution, such as
IV pumps, fans, foot stools, breast pumps, we clean all of these items
and more, Hep B can live on enviromental surfaces for 27 days ( I think
, its a long time) , hence the need for cleaning.....
