Jessica and others,
I have been watching "A Bany's Story for the past week after being
turned onto it by a labor patient last week. I think it could be a
wonderful resource, but they've done a lot of epidurals in the ones I've
seen. There's always a Doc saying how safe they are and how they don't
get to the baby and that stuff, but some of them are really quite nice.
I saw one last week with a home birth with siblings present (no epidural
obviously) and a Cesarean for twins which was ok. I've started taping
them to have a "library" for my prenatal classes. I hope the one from
today turned out. I missed it today. I haven't seen a great emphasis
on breastfeeding since I've started watching, but I'm hoping to see
more.
