Iam am hypothyroid and I have breastfed five babies just fine. I wasn't put
on replacement therapy until recently and I have never had any problem with
my milk supply. However, i have had several clients who have had problems
with low milk supply that rebounded as soon as their replacement therapy got
their levels back in line. Not all symptoms will be experienced by all
affected people. some will have some symptoms, some others, so we can't
assume that the disease will cause problems with breastfeeding.
