Hi all,Just off the phone with a mum who is worried about grit in her baby's poo. I have permission to post. Her Gp said to drink more water. However baby is 14 weeks old, pee is clear and poo is like chicken korma sauce. But mum has noticed grit like course sand left on top of poo after liquid absorbed in the nappy. Is this normal or is this indicative of a problem? Mum is always with baby and there are no siblings to give baby weird food. All I could think of was Kidney stones coming from the pee obviously or stones from the pancreas or is it just normal? Many thanks in advance,Sarah McCann.IBCLCLLL Leaderwww.BreastfeedingResourcesNI.co.uk
