The feedback that I got from some of the nurses on our unit ( I work night
shift so don't have to deal with formula reps) is that Ross is saying that
there are so many problems with Lipil because of the oils that they use and
that the Advance doesn't have the same oil so should not have the same
problem. My point is that there must be some info out there regarding the
Lipil problems for this to be referred to. I would love to have some proof to
present to our nurse manager as she calls our complaints about the vomiting
and diarrhea "anecdotal", well isn't that how you get started documenting
problems. I thought about the FDA website but the HIPAA guidelines have us so
paranoid about doing anything, any suggestions? The peds just change formulas
if we see the GI symptoms without documenting anything. Sherry Weersing RNC
