who sees a connection or parallel to breastfeeding, birth or parenting in
practically everything?  How many times have I heard my family say,  Not
everything has to do with . . . .!   These days my 20 year old daughter just
pats me on the shoulder and says in a patronizing tone, "It's ok, Mom, we
understand."  Usually when I'm sputtering incomprehensibly because I'm so
incensed.

Of course, now, all these college kiddies come running home to tell me either
another myth that was perpetrated in a class, or thumbs up over a truth that
was told.  And that's because everyone of them has used some aspect of
breastfeeding for more than one research paper or speech, because I have the
professional texts, journals, articles, etc, they need without a trip to the
library!  One way of educating not only the student doing the work, but their
teacher and classmates as well!  : D
