I am pretty new to Lactnet and hope someone can help me. My research skills are not up to par. How can I find out what thyroid hormones to test for a mother with low milk supply? What are the normal levels for a lactating woman? My client was told by her doctor that if her thyroid levels were fine during pregnancy they should be fine now and no need to test. That does not sound right to me. Also, where can I find a study about the effect of no or minimal breast stimulation on day 2 on lactogenesis II and milk supply? Thanks so much.
