Good day everyone,
With our move to a new space, I have been nomail for a while. Will come back on board soon.

In the mean time, MMBNE is growing, our new space is beautiful and the demand for donor milk is rising in our area, so we're looking to hire some help. We are looking for 2 lab techs to help pasteurize milk, description below:

Lab Tech - Donor Milk Processing
Organization: Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast is a small, growing non-profit organization, providing pasteurized donor human milk for premature babies throughout the east coast. This is an opportunity for a bright, energetic, motivated person to work in a new organization.

Responsibilities include: We are looking for two people who will prepare and clean up lab and equipment, pasteurize donor milk, keep track of supplies, enter pasteurization data into database.
Requirements: Applicant should be: well organized and detail oriented; able to perform multi-step processes, including detailed record keeping; comfortable talking about breastfeeding and handling human milk; able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Lab experience a plus, but can be trained.

Location: Newton, MA

Time: 20-25 hours/week, schedule is somewhat flexible. Possibility of increasing hours over time.

Compensation: $14-$16/hour based on experience.

Also, we are looking for an IBCLC to help with donor screening, per diem, especially over the summer, while Jen and Raechel, our wonderful donor intake co-ordinators, take their well deserved vacations.

If you or anyone you know is interested in either of these positions, please email resume to [log in to unmask] .

Thank you,

Naomi
