Some thoughts:
Is baby getting sick? Earache, sore throat, thrush?
Has mom started eating something new? Allergy or food intolerance to
something in the milk?
Has mom lost alot of weight? I know that this doesn't usually effect milk
production, but have heard of this being the culprit, esp. in a very thin,
small mom (I went down to 89 lbs while nsg my first, big robust baby about
that age; I just didn't find time to eat alot - I am usually about 100). If
so, add hi cal/fats to mom's diet.
I guess you asked about hormonal birth control since you asked about poss.
