Could you give more information of your crematocrit measurement.
I was going to respond to Lisa about my thoughts on crematocrit, but you
seem to have used it more scientifically.
In our area, one ped uses their hematocrit machine to spin down moms milk
and gives a calorie per ounce reading.  Often the sample can be questioned (moms
told to nurse a bit and then express some milk, there are no other
parameters)
Therefore in my experience, this can be used against the mom, that her
milk is low in calories.  I was under the impression that it is difficult
to effect the QUALITY of breastmilk in a well-nourished, or even
moderately nourished individual.  Can someone comment on this.
