Today I saw a baby who is a 12 hours short of 4 days old. Sorry metric
weights not handy but born at 7lbs 10 ounces, sent home at 24 hours at 7lbs
3 ounces. Next day for visiting nurse was 6lbs 14 ounces but reportedly
feeding well, green stool and mom feeling breast changes. Today in my office
was 7lbs 3 ounces. looks well, feeds well, yellow stools, multiple wet
diapers.

Baby went down 3 ounces (90 grams in one day then back up again?) I suspect
not but baby is good now.
I knew somewhere Jack had a big spontaneous grin but he didn't know why.
