I'm posting this again for those who might have been nomail or missed it the
first time. If you emailed me your email address and have NOT received the
results (the last group went out via emali today), then email me again
because it means I never received your request. Please put your email
address in the body of your email too.

For those who are perplexed as to what I'm talking about...
About a year ago I posted a survey asking about practice patterns and LC
fees/charges. If you were one of the hundreds of respondents (thank you
again) who wanted a copy of the results, now is your chance. I brought many
copies to ILCA, but they ran out in only 10 minutes. Upon returning from
ILCA, I discovered that my hard drive had been infected and virtually
everything was scrambled. Fortunately, I keep backups on disk; however, the
disk version was a subsetted version without the "unique identifiers" (your
names and email addresses). So, here I am grovelling...if you want results,
please privately email me. No, I cannot post the results. Someone objected
to this last year and I agreed to comply.

Please take note of the full discussion section. If one only reads the
gross per hour calculation, the findings are misleading. In the discussion
section, I've added a table that takes the average minimum amount of
nonbillable hours plus the one billable hour and divides that (5) into the
charges for the hour (either straight charges or derived for the
fee-for-service group). There are more analyses forthcoming and I must say
that the information shared was invaluable. I hope to put it in a format
that all LCs will find useful. For now, my faithful participants deserve at
least this much.

Thanks again.
