Thankyou for the info and support after my first post.
Could a woman have nipple yeast prior to BF? ie last trimester? Mom c/o
leaking and burning while in the shower. If so would you treat prior to birth?
Also, the LC series, are they available prior to LC exam? If so, where could
I locate?
And now one of those comments ( I hope I dont insult anyone, being new and all).
Educating our local Docs has been a challenge to the point of tossing in
that towel and just forging ahead, chipping away abit at a time. Along comes
a Docs wife, having just completed a BCCourse, and shes getting rave reviews
for an article about how poorly educated most Drs are in the area of BF. I
have tried to get handouts passed re. Mastitis, yeast etc for use at our
local hospital without success. She only had to approach a Nurse Manager and
get the go-ahead.
Okay - I know what your thinking - sour grapes and all - plus she could make
a valuable allay - but sometimes I wonder what Im doing here.
And then I help a family and I know why. Mushy, hey?
