Whether to bottle feed or breast feed is up to Mom

Of course botle feeding is mentioned first:
<<There are several advantages to bottle feeding that never seem to be
mentioned. First and foremost is the opportunity for dad to crawl out of
bed in the middle of the night and feed his new child. Admittedly the
milk could have been pumped from mom's breast and stored in a bottle,
but the baby may get used to the relative ease of obtaining milk from a
bottle rather than the breast and be forever spoiled. Having dad share
in the feeding is an enormously important opportunity for dad to do some
pretty solid bonding. The root of the ills of society are many, but the
traditional distancing of newborn babies from their dads at feeding time
may cut down on the bonding that dad gets. Just a thought.>>

Excuse me?!!! Outrage here.
and then comes the rescue
<< Despite the presence of some unique benefits of bottle feeding, there is
no question that breast-feeding is better for the baby and should be
wholeheartedly encouraged for the new mom. Only about half of new moms
go home breast feeding today, compared to a whopping 88% back in 1932
who chose breast feeding.>>
