(And if anyone thinks they're going to get me to eat more Lima beans by
depriving me of chocolate, they're sadly mistaken! I don't see why the same
logic wouldn't apply to babies who love to nurse.)

~~~Wow, someone is on a roll...:) Again, amazingly said, and so full of
sense! ( in both senses of the word "sense"...:)
Diane writes also: "As to the premie milk, I love Chris Mulford's  analogy:
 If formula is
Philadelphia and breastmilk is Hawaii, the new  improved formula, if it
really *is* new and improved (which is  questionable) might be Pittsburgh. And
(my addition) frozen milk, donor milk,  milk after having taken most
medications, milk from the "wrong aged  child" is maybe a few miles off   Waikiki
Beach. "
~~~I would slightly reword/clarify that if one is leaving NYC and heading
toward Hawaii, then yes Philadelphia is "closer than before", and Pittsburgh
 "closer than ever" but still not like " a few miles of the coast of
Hawaii" or however. I only say this because it's about the "closeness" of the
"destination" this way, and not making Philadelphia( where Nikki and my son
live!) sound like "formula." :)

Peace,
