Serzone is the newest of the SSRI's antidepressants and the PDR of course
says that it is incompatible with breastfeeding. My family physician
prescribed it for me as an alternative to Zoloft when I wanted my libido
back but I never got up to full dosage before I went off to become pregnant.
So that was me- what can I tell someone else who had Prozac until 8 mos
pregnant and was switched to Zoloft when her psychiatrist told her it was
incompatible with bf'ing? She's not happy with Zoloft. I think returning
to Prozac would be the best option, because it works for her.

I'm curious about Serzone and pregnancy beyond the PDR and my ob doesn't
know enough to say. My daughter was over 18 mos when I was on it before and
I have doubts about a newborn, as well as pregnancy.

And Georgia- thanks for the wonderful post on Belize! I'm saving it just to
savor.
Kate
