Any thoughts on license vs. certificate? It seems to me that if LCs were
licensed it would be more of an incentive than certification and
recertification. Just thinking out loud.....anybody else?

Through corresponding with someone in private e-mail, another interesting
question came up that maybe someone here could shed some light on:

Why are people with ANY degree required to obtain less practice hours than
people without? Doesn't that imply that a rocket scientist would make a better
lacation consultant than a non-degree, uncredentialed, breastfeeding mom/dad (in
some cases dad knows more than most moms I know)? My apologies to all rocket
scientists on the list who I have offended.

What's up with that (as my son would say)?

Margery, I knew that the "Breastfeeding Bandit" would not get passed you. I
just hope we don't find out she is "associated" with any support groups or
profession that could make the publicity worse! I doubt it but with the week I
am having, I wouldn't be surprised.
