Hello All,
I have been on hiatus from this informative group for some time. By way of
introduction, I am a hospital-based IBCLC (1997), having worked here in this
position for 9 years. I was team-leader to our Baby-Friendly designation in
1999.  Recently we were designated Mother-Friendly as well. It's an ongoing
process as you all know. Staff education, parent (family) education and
outpatient consults are part of what I do, in addition to classes and a
weekly Mom's group. I look forward to stimulating, challenging and
thought-provoking dialog in this forum.
 Lastly, I have four much-loved children, all of whom were breastfed (one
only a short time, sadly) One young man is still growing and home at 13,
(the others are grown- ..most of the time!), a great supportive husband and
2 adorable grandbabies!
