In response to visiting hour cahnges because of short stay in hospital. Our
hospital has open visiting hours for husbands/spouses, siblings of baby and
grand parents but restrict general visiting to evenings 6:30pm to 8:30 pm.
We get the odd complaint but hardly ever from the patients who realize they
have a lot to learn. Their immediate care-givers are also taught things if
they are in visiting during the day. We have some visitors come from out of
town, who don't know our strict visiting and patients are welcome to visit
them in a lounge outside the locked department. We had a much more open
policy but have had a baby abduction so we know have a locked, Enter by
ringing the bell policy, with card access for those who have hospital cards.

If someone was to give a short, kind quizz for Doctors to test their
breastfeeding knowledge what would be some good questions. Or what would be
some good questions their patients could ask them to test their knowledge.
I really like that stradegy or am I off base?
