Let me add my personal rant:

Last week, a mom I know had a c-section at a major trauma hospital in the
area (with a Level 3 nursery). She developed a fever on day 3 and was told
she had to be separated from the baby while she still had the fever (above
the objections of her personal pediatrician) and, to add insult to injury,
that she could not breastfeed on an obviously compatible antibiotic. I
heard about this after she got home. I hope she files a complaint.
