Cogent argument re: internalizing the cultural importance of the clock.

On the other hand, there are a small minority of infants with impaired
autonomic rythmicity due to neurological immaturity or insult.  Even in
these kids, parental attention to their needs helps enhance their
development. (Zeskind).  I'd hate to see the pendulum swing so far that
parents who have disorganized infants are not offered early intervention
services.
