I must confess I have a hard time with these sorts of advice.

Weight gain - mom's choice - her baby , not peds.  If weight gain stays 
stable and  going up  on baby's own  graph, it doesn't matter what other 
babies do on their graphs :-)

Please send me mom's email or PNP's.  I will be only too happy to send her 
the flyer for an all day breastfeeding class (Vergie Hughes).  It is 
scheduled for the day before our national NP convention starts in Baltimore 
in March.  I would also be willling to share with the NP, as NP to NP :-)

In the meantime get this mom relactating.  Maybe she eats a lot of carrots
