Jane: here is another one for your list:
Yesterday my co-leader and I made a home visit to one of our Group moms.
Her new baby Ryan is one week old. She has been coming to our Group
since about 6th month of pregnancy and there were a few problems.While
we were there her husband came home and at once point he referred to us
as the La Leche League SWAT Team!! (meant to be humourous of course, not
derogatory-he was really happy to have us there- and by the way appears
to be a really loving, supportive Dad.).
BTW, I had my two sons with me (ages 3 and 5). He saw them and said
something like "and these are two breastfed babies?" (of course. . . and
he probably never imagined that the younger one *still* is a breastfed
"baby"!!).
