"Its amazes me how quick the doctors are to stop a mom from breastfeeding
with
certain medications or think the moms need to not breastfeed based on a
particular medication but when it comes to reading the insert on Depo and
the possibility of decreasing the milk supply they don't bat an eye and
continue to give it right after delivery."

...and I have been dealing with physicians in our area who refuse to
prescribe Diflucan to a mom with Thrush ... and now she has to take some
very strong antibiotics as the cracks have developed a bacterial infection
thanks to not responding for THREE MONTHS to Nystatin!!!! She was even
threatened to be charged with child endangerment if she took the Diflucan!

It's interesting how physicians imply they are following this very clear,
black and white science called "medicine" then read and accept only the
data THEY CHOOSE to believe (after all, the PDR is so much better than the
studies and quotes from Hale and others I provided for them)...

If I sound a bit frustrated...
