Believe it or not Dr. Newman, where I work there are physicians who do not
know this. I had a Dr. tell me, very proudly, that he answered a
breastfeeding question a Mom presented to him. When I asked what it was, he
said, "She wanted to know if one side would dry up if the baby kept nursing
off of just one side." I asked him what his response was. He said that he
told her that as long as she nursed on one side the other side would keep
producing!!! AAARRRGGGHH!! This was an OB/GYN. I quietly sat and explained
to him the A&P of the breast and then asked that he go to the office and
PLEASE call this Mom and have her call me.
