Hello Terri
I am responding to your lactnet question about bubble palate
Has the baby ever nursed successfully without the mom getting sore?
My 2nd baby also had a bubble palate and I was incredibly sore in the beginning few days until my LLLL/IBCLC friend suggested a contact shield which I used for 3 weeks. In that time, my daughter nursed and that made her palate wider, it developed into a well formed palate and she was able to nurse without the shield without hurting me
I know 9 months is a lot older but it may still make a difference and can maybe be an improvement to bottles
Let me know what you think ;)
Good luck
Loes Lindsay
