Greetings from Chicago, part 2

This will have to be brief, because it's 2 am, and Alicia and I just got thru
going thru all your messages from today--

Seven of us got together today for lunch (with Armond Goldman--every table
had it's faculty)-- Pat Drazin, Cynthia Payne, Anne Andrios, Arly Helm, Anne
Eglash, Alicia Dermer and myself--
The sessions were fantastic, but I won't make you jealous with all the glory
details, and it's too late at night for me to give you some of the pearls of
wisdom, but I will try to go back later and do that--

We had a wonderful dinner cruise tonight on Lake Michigan, which is why
Alicia and I didn't log on until after midnight, read all your stuff and only
now getting back--

Thank you to all of you with all of your wonderful feedback on the nurture
III, I will get back to you each later.

Larry Gartner today brought up in the intro section both ABM (not abm) and
lactnet, and posted how to subscribe on the board in front of the session, so
you may get some new members soon--

I'm glad all of you are so impressed with my techno-abilities, but actually
the main obstacle is being willing to carry the extra weight onboard the
plane. My laptop is my only computer, and the modem is internal to it so I
know nothing about it. It has a little telephone shaped receptor site where I
plug in one of those regular telephone cords, and the other end goes into the
little receptor site of same shape that all the hotels have in their room
phones now (if they don't you just unplug the phone and plug it into the
wall) you then just follow all their phone rules of dialing 8 or whatever to
get an outside line. I'm on aol, so I just find out ahead of time the local
access number for aol in Chicago, and it's a local call from my hotel room.
That's the extent of my technical knowledge.

I have got to get some sleep!

I'll see some more of you tomorrow as you arrive for the big conference, and
more of you in Scottsdale (you see why I had to bring my computer along-- 10
days without lactnet would have been more than I could handle!)

Tina
